Terror attack in London(REUTERS)
British police on Thursday foiled a suspected terror attack after they arrested a man allegedly to have been found carrying knives outside the houses of parliament in London.
The incident took place Thursday when armed police carrying out a counter-terrorism operation swooped on the man at a street lined with government buildings.
The suspect is believed to be 27 years of age, lives in London and carries a British passport, but was not born in the United Kingdom.
Police said the incident unfolded near the scene of another terror attack on March 22.
No one was injured in the incident.
